At Digitalvation, my mission is to empower SMEs in the Creative and Technology sectors by transforming workflows and processes through cutting-edge digitalization and AI adoption strategies. I am dedicated to delivering solutions that are cloud-based, AI-powered, and tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients, all while fostering a professional, collaborative, and approachable environment.
As an AI enthusiast and human protectionist, I am passionate about helping SMEs realize the transformative potential of AI. My approach emphasizes leveraging AI to automate repetitive tasks, streamline data management, and uncover actionable insights, enabling businesses to focus on what truly matters—creativity, innovation, and growth.
For generative AI, I advocate its role as a production assistant, designed to inspire and enhance human ingenuity rather than replace it.

Who is Digitalvation?
Digitalvation is me, Mathew Hasker. I work with SMEs predominately in the Creative and Technology Sector. It is just me here in my office, in Park Gate, Southampton.
Do you work with other consultants / companies as part of your delivery?
In some situations, I will call on the assistance of other consultants to deliver work. I have access to brand professionals, copywriters, developers and commercial experts. When I do, I let the client know first before any work commences.
How do you work?
After initial introductions and discovery calls, I like to send a proposal of work with a general idea of how a working relationship could work. Once approved, I then follow by Discover - > Design -> deploy workflow. Typically, work commences once I have received a signed agreement of a Statement of Work. I will then commence the work and invoice after each milestone. For work that is based on a rolling monthly agreement, I typically invoice at the end of each month.
Do you use AI in your work?
Yes, I use AI and Generative AI in much of my work. Some examples include:
- Create visuals to inspire and get some direction on the work
- Check my copy to make sure I haven't made any spelling or grammar mistakes. I may ask for recommendations on how to improve on a phrase or apply a certain tone. Sometimes it tells me I've got it right, but I may also add recommendations that the technology has made.
- Interrogate data, or to summarise transcripts
